Secretary of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at General People's Congress Meets Delegation of Mediterranean Human Rights Lawyers Association

Tripoli, 24.5.2011 (JANA) Secretary of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at General People's Congress (Hosni Louhishi), on Monday met Chairman and members of Mediterranean Human Rights Lawyers Association, (Mohamed Bakkar) and his accompanying delegation who are on a visit to Great Jamahiriya to participate in a human rights seminar held in Tripoli on the international legitimacy of Security Council resolutions 1970 and 1973 on Libya. The meeting was attended by Secretary-General of General Union of the legal advisers in the Great Jamahiriya, Secretary of Judiciary and Prosecutors Association in Tripoli, a representative of the General Association of Attorneys. The meeting was attended by a number of, judges, legal advisers, lawyers, and member staffs of law faculties of the Libyan universities. The Secretary of Legal Affairs and Human Rights called Chairman and members of the delegation, which includes lawyers and jurists of the Mediterranean countries, to consult closely on the effects of the Crusader NATO aggression against the Great Jamahiriya to transmit facts to the whole world. He also presented a detailed explanation about the Crusader aggression and the despicable conspiracy woven by Western countries and some countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council in which they harnessed Arab and global media, such as Al Jazeera, to market this plot through the Arab League and the Security Council and to disseminate falsehoods and lies to incite the international public opinion. The Secretary turned to the crimes perpetrated by terrorist gangs of human slaughter on the way al-Zarqawi, and burning, as stated in the confessions of these bands.
